Christmas Season: We Are Grateful for Cosmetic Dentistry
‘Tis the season… to be jolly, to be merry, to spend time with friends and family, to eat too much, to give and to receive. This is the most wonderful time of the year! It seems that this time of year is always jam packed with a million things on our to-do lists. It is important that we remember in all the hustle and bustle to take care of our oral hygiene needs. Make sure to take an hour out of a day to visit your dentist if you are in need of your regular dental check-up and cleaning… just twice each year. Don’t forget to maintain good oral home care as well. Remember to brush and floss daily to protect your teeth from all the delicious treats you will be consuming over the next few weeks. It is so important to brush and floss every day, great oral home care helps to insure that your smile will stay healthy and beautiful. With so much going on in our lives, sometimes it is difficult to take time out to recognize all of things we have to be grateful for.
One of the top things that most people forget to be thankful for is good health. When we are feeling well, we often take for granted that there are others who are suffering from poor health at the same time. While we are enjoying holiday treats and goodies, some people are nursing a toothache or have a broken tooth that unfortunately, they just don’t have the finances to fix.
Cosmetic dentistry is a luxury that not everyone can afford and many people suffer through painful and unsightly tooth decay that prevents them from smiling. What is cosmetic dentistry you ask? Cosmetic dentistry includes a variety of dental treatments aimed at improving the appearance of the teeth. The purpose of cosmetic dentistry is to improve the appearance of the teeth using bleaching, bonding, veneers, reshaping, orthodontics, or implants. Whether it is discolored or dark front teeth, tooth decay, or metal fillings, an unattractive smile can really affect a person’s self-confidence. Not only that, research has shown that public perception is also effected by a person’s outward appearance especially their teeth and smile.
We are lucky that the cosmetic dentists at Thomas L. Anderson and Associates have the ability make fabulous smiles. Our dentists excel in family and cosmetic dentistry. We have the pleasure to work with high-end master dental technicians that help us create the magic of rebuilding smiles.
We are grateful to have friendly and caring staff as well as dental assistants that make your visit as comfortable as possible. Our staff works to make your trip feel more like a spa experience, rather than a dental appointment. We are lucky to have three top notch facilities that are not only cozy, but also conveniently located in the Kansas City Metro area.
We are extremely thankful to have wonderful patients for whom we enjoy providing dental care. We are extremely diligent in treating our patients like family, we are here to create long lasting relationships with our patients and their families. Our office is committed to providing outstanding service to our patients. We go the extra mile to make each experience with our office is the best.
So, this year when you are stuffing your stockings, wrapping the presents, decorating and filling our bellies with warm and yummy food, let’s remember to be grateful for what we have. We are all so lucky to have everything that we do. Please remember that there are others out there who are not quite as lucky as others. It is easy for people to forget how lucky we are, and dwell on all the things that are not perfect in our lives.
I know we certainly are grateful for having the opportunity to provide excellent service and dental care. Thank you all for allowing us to do what we love to do, make beautiful smiles and have fun in the process.
Happy Holiday everyone! Remember to brush and floss daily!
