We accept MetLife dental military benefits!

Life gets busy and it’s hard to take time away from work and home to do just about anything, especially if you are one of our great American soldiers.  Military dentists don’t always have the best reputation and if their office is off track from your day to day routine, it makes finding time for a dental visit feel impossible.  Also, a lot of dentists are in network with very few dental insurance companies making our soldiers pay out of pocket when they can have better coverage with an office in-network with their insurance.  This is why Dr. Thomas L. Anderson and Associates participates with all major dental insurance companies, even MetLife dental military benefits, or Tricare.

You can enroll for MetLife dental military benefits if you are:

1. Family member of an active duty service member, a family member of a National Guard/Reserve Member
2. National Guard/Reserve Member who isn’t on active duty or covered by the Transitional Assistance Management Program (TAMP). MetLife dental military benefits include exams, cleanings, fluorides, sealants, and X-rays.  Fillings including tooth colored fillings on Molar teeth. They also help coverroot canals, gum surgeries, oral surgery, crowns, dentures, orthodontics, and even additional cleanings for pregnant women. 

• Pregnant women tend to have swollen, red gums that feel tender and bleed during brushing and flossing.  During pregnancy a lot of moms experience this due to changes in hormones that make their gums more sensitive to the bacteria in their plaque.  Many insurance companies do not add this extra benefit, but it is just one of the many ways

Our soldiers have a lot of readjusting to do upon arriving home from active duty.  Often times while protecting our freedom, they tend to neglect their oral health while overseas.  This is why our office accepts MetLife dental military benefits.  We want to make sure upon returning home our American soldiers are taken care of, just as they are taking care of all of us daily.  Our four gentle dentists, Dr. Thomas L. Anderson, Dr. Ellis Thigpen, Dr. Darren Perry, and Dr. Jason Beckman believe in taking care of our military families. Especially since one of our own, Dr. Ellis Thigpen, is a Retired Colonel from the Army Reserves.  We are American Patriots, and we will ALWAYS carry insurance through MetLife dental military benefits.  When our Soldiers return home to their precious families, we will be here to help them with any and all of their dental needs.
