Dr. Garner earned his bachelor degree in chemistry from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and his Doctorates in Dental Surgery from University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2008 he completed his residency at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor thus earning his degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Over the years of practicing he has completed several continuing education training with focuses in oral surgery, endodontic therapy, Invisalign and implant dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, National Dental Association as well as Academy of General Dentistry Association.
Dr. Garner was drawn to dentistry in his teenage years and at 14 years old set out the goal to become a Dentist. Through his own dental experiences a desire was developed to help other people manage their oral care and become more educated about how their oral health effects their overall health. His approach to dentistry is one that is focused on combining the patient’s needs with their desires to get them back into a functionally healthier state then they were before.
The St. Louis native currently resides in the Lee’s Summit area with his wife and two young daughters. When not serving the community as a Dentist he spends his time enjoying his family. Dr. Garner is a sports fanatic especially football, but outside of sports he enjoys cooking, art and outreach activities.
